Healthy sleep is a foundation for wellbeing and a happier frame of mind.
About this Event
According to research, almost a third of the population in the United States struggle with getting out of bed in the morning because of the lack of good-quality sleep at night, which means we’re not feeling as great as we could be during the day. Healthy sleep is a foundation for wellbeing and a happier frame of mind. When creating a healthy sleep routine it is important to start with the morning optimization and continue into the early evening. You may be waking up fatigued and fuzzy-headed, you may have difficulty remembering things, or maybe at work, you don’t feel as focused or productive as you could be. Lack of quality sleep impacts your hunger hormones, and a tired brain loses executive function, so it’s harder to make healthy choices during the day.
A productive, energized day calls for quality sleep. Unfortunately, there’s no magic way to make that happen. But there are some simple steps you can take to help you sleep better. Join Integrative Health Practitioner and Health Coach Daira Duric, of Rose Wellness Center in Oakton, VA to learn more about how to identify potential sleep disorders, create a healthy sleep routine as well as implement lifestyle changes that will positively impact your sleep quality.
